The 2016 vintage wines from our estate Margarita Vineyard continue to ring a lot of bells with consumers and critics alike.

This all goes back to the 2016 growing season, which was marked by steady weather and small yields, producing fruit with extraordinary evenness and concentration. The result: some of our finest wines to date.

The 2016 Renegade red blend was named Top Region wine at the Houston Uncorked! International Wine Competition. It was also awarded 90 points by California Grapevine. The 2016 Merlot earned 90 points in Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate and a gold medal at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.

Meantime, the 2016 Zinfandel was rated 94 points in The Tasting Panel and 89 points in Wine Spectator, and the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon earned 90 points from both Wine Enthusiast and Jeb Dunnuck.

Needless to say, the results are in on our 2016 wines, and they are worth stocking up on at our Paso Robles tasting room.
