Deep Dive: Paso Robles will be moderated by Master Sommelier Chuck Furuya and will feature Jason Haas, partner and GM at Tablas Creek Vineyard; Jordan Fiorentini, VP of winemaking and vineyards at Epoch Wine Estates; and Amanda Wittstrom-Higgins, executive vice president of Ancient Peaks Winery. Dan Williams, wine buyer at the acclaimed retailer Hi-Time Cellars, will also join us for a guest appearance.
The intent of this discussion and tasting is to illuminate the latest discoveries and developments across the Paso Robles AVA, as seen through the lens of three local pace-setting wineries. Chuck was one of the first national voices in the sommelier community to recognize the potential of Paso Robles, and he will guide the discussion into all aspects of what makes our region distinctive—including its terroirs, wine styles and personalities.
